Every year, Advent in Altötting is an event that attracts many tourists and pilgrims to this picturesque Bavarian town. The town lives for Advent and offers a lot to its guests and residents. Both the youngest and the oldest visitors will find something for body and soul at the Christmas market.

A unique experience, especially for families with children, will be a walk around the fair and nearby shops, which will present nativity scenes of all types and styles. It is the nativity scenes, both in churches and in the urban space, that attract many visitors to the city every year.
